The Role
The UWM Foundation is seeking a full-time CRM Data Operations Specialist. This position is responsible for ensuring data quality, providing frontline support and reporting, user training, and documentation. This role is integral to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of data within the UWM Foundation IT systems, particularly the Salesforce CRM, Advancement RM (AQ). The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and collaborative.
What You’ll Be Doing
Data Quality and Management:
Ensure data quality/hygiene, and consistent, timely record updates
Perform regular data imports, updates, and maintenance within AQ
Conduct routine audits and resolve discrepancies to ensure data accuracy
Manage data cleansing processes to maintain high-quality records
Supervise the student assistant or intern in the day-to-day data operations
Frontline Support and Reporting:
Respond to reporting and data requests
Assist internal and external users with CRM-related inquiries and troubleshooting
Assist end-users in running reports
Develop and support native Salesforce/AQ reporting
Generate and distribute standard and ad hoc reports as needed
Support data analysis initiatives to uncover insights and improve decision-making
User Training and Documentation:
Provide basic user training and troubleshooting
Provide training to staff on data entry consistent with the best practices and CRM functionality
Provide documentation and support for system functionalities and integrations
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data management procedures
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance data workflows
Technical Support:
Assist in ensuring data integrity and consistency via Quality Control (QC) reports
Provide technical support for end-users, including computer and networking issues
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field such as computer science and technology information systems is preferred; however, candidates with an associates degree or relevant college coursework combined with experience will be considered.
Proficiency in relational databases and database query language (MS SQL preferred)
Experience with CRM systems, preferably in Salesforce environment (training available if necessary)
Good working knowledge with database reporting and business intelligence tools (Microsoft Power BI preferred)
Proficiency in Excel and data manipulation tools
Attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned projects
